Wilhams Insulation Group was founded in 1974 and moved to Rye, its new factory, in year 2000.

The Group has developed over the years and is now recognised as a leading independent designer, manufacturer and supplier of acoustic, fire and thermal insulation materials and other associated products.
Wilhams specialises in engineering solutions to solve clients’ insulation problems, or to meet customers specifications in the acoustic, fire or thermal insulation industries.

Full technical support can be provided across the whole spectrum of the groups products, which range from specialised foams to multi-layer, multi-barrier type acoustic materials. For specialist applications or contracts, we can supply and install.
Our client orientated approach includes an acoustic consultancy service, and the ability to develop specialist materials and laminates to solve customers noise control problems.

Wilhams in Overseas

For the past two years, Wilhams UK has expended overseas having a sister company, Wilhams Insulation Far East Sdn Bhd, based in Shah Alam, Malaysia, supplying many of the prestigious projects within Malaysia. In addition, we are developing strategic partnerships. For example, Vector Thai Technology in Thailand, where we have recently completed the supply of fire rated ductwork systems to the prestigious Bangkok MRT.
